British Council,NCED to conduct primary level teachers' training

BHAKTAPUR: The National Center for Education Development and the British Council are going to direct educators' preparation on showing distinctive subjects through English as the medium of direction.

Sorting out a press meet in Bhaktapur today, Khagraj Baral, Executive Director, NCED, said in the first stage the preparation will be led for upwards of 7,000 essential level instructors. "Group teachers have long been requesting such sort of preparing. So we have collaborated with the British Council to lead educators preparing for them," he said.

NCED and the British Council had marked a Mou for a long time in November 2014 with the goal to enhance classroom execution of educators of English and different subjects from schools needing to change their medium of direction into English.

Brendan Mcsharry, Country Director, British Council Nepal, said, "The task (National Initiative to Improve Teaching in English) will reinforce the procurement of essential training in Nepal."
